A former Division II standout at Arkansas Tech before finishing his college career at Liberty, Taelon Peter showcased his scoring and defensive prowess in his rookie season, averaging 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 41.5 percent from the field, including 36.3 percent from beyond the arc, through 20 games (16 starts) with the Boom.

Peter posted two 30-point games and recorded 14 games in double figures, while draining four or more three-pointers in nine contests this season. During the tip-off slate, he delivered the best game of his professional career, recording a career-high 33 points on 12-of-19 shooting - including a career-best nine made three-pointers - along with eight rebounds and four assists against the Windy City Bulls on Dec. 14, 2025.

On the defensive end, Peter was a pest in the passing lanes and on the ball, racking up 29 steals in just 20 games. In the Jan. 8 matchup against the Raptors, he made up for his offensive struggles by grabbing 10 rebounds and five steals, matching or setting career highs in both categories.
