The six-year NBA G League veteran saw his 2025-26 season limited due to injuries after five productive years in the league. The 6‑foot‑9 forward appeared in just four games during the campaign after missing the first two months with a lower back injury before being shut down for the remainder of the season due to a hand injury.

The former 56th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft made his season debut on Dec. 31, 2025, against Maine, recording six points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 19 minutes of action. His return provided a much-needed boost to the team’s frontcourt depth. Spalding went on to appear in three additional games before suffering a right-hand injury that ultimately sidelined him for the rest of the season.
