The Egyptian big man made his NBA G League debut after averaging a double-double across his first two professional seasons overseas. El-Sheikh spent multiple stints with the Boom during the 2025–26 season, appearing in 15 games and averaging 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 54.2 percent from the field in 11.4 minutes per game.

El-Sheikh found success in stretches with the team, highlighted by a career-high 21-point performance on 7-of-8 shooting with five rebounds against Westchester on March 14, 2026. A month earlier, he recorded the first double-double of his G League career, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Rio Grande on Feb. 27.

On the season, El-Sheikh also spent time with the Maine Celtics, appearing in three games while averaging 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds, and shooting 50.0 percent from three-point range.
