Jalen Slawson, the 54th overall selection in the 2023 NBA Draft, showcased his full arsenal during his third G League season and first with the Boom. The Furman alum joined the team after being acquired in a trade with the Birmingham Squadron ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
In his Boom debut, Slawson posted 31 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including 6-of-9 from three-point range, to go with five assists, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks - setting the stage for a monster season. Appearing in 37 games (35 starts), Slawson averaged 19.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.4 steals per game, while shooting 47.8 percent from the field. He set career highs in points, assists, blocks, steals and field-goal percentage.
Slawson led the Boom in total points (713), assists (202) and blocks (87), while finishing second on the team in rebounds (269) and steals (51) during the 2025-26 season. Among his peers, he ranked third in the league in blocks per game (2.1) and 17th in rebounds per game (7.9) in 26 appearances during the regular season slate.
On the year, Slawson recorded 18 games with at least 20 points, 16 games with three or more blocks, nine games with double-digit rebounds, four 30-point outings, eight double-doubles and one triple-double. His standout season earned him a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers on Feb. 28, 2026.
