The second-year forward out of Grand Canyon was in the midst of a standout campaign before sustaining a season-ending injury, posting career highs across the board. McGlothan averaged 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 52.0 percent from the field - including 38.8 percent from three - across 37 games (19 starts) during the 2025–26 season.

McGlothan opened the season on fire, scoring double figures in 13 of the 14 Tip-Off Tournament games while leading the team in minutes played (474), made field goals (91), rebounds (112), and steals (27). In the final game of the Tip-Off Tournament slate, he erupted for a season-high 27 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field, along with seven rebounds and two assists against Windy City on Dec. 14, 2025. Just two days later, McGlothan earned an opportunity of a lifetime when he signed a 10-day contract with the Indiana Pacers, becoming the 28th NBA Call-Up in franchise history to cap off his stellar start to the season.

Following his brief stint with the Pacers, McGlothan returned to the Boom for the Winter Showcase finale, where he dropped 25 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals against Santa Cruz—picking up right where he left off. He appeared in 23 regular-season games, averaging 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from three-point range, showcasing his stretch-four capabilities. Following his continued strong play, McGlothan became one of two Boom players selected to represent the team during NBA All-Star 2026, earning a spot in the G League Slam Dunk Contest.

Toward the tail end of his career season, McGlothan suffered multiple rib fractures against Capital City on Feb. 22, 2026, bringing his year to a close. On the season, he posted 12 20-point performances, eight games with 10 or more rebounds, 17 outings with at least seven made field goals, and 23 appearances shooting 50.0 percent or better from the field. He finished the season ranked second on the team in points (584), rebounds (270), and blocks (30), and fourth in steals (46).
