Age: 30
Years Pro: 7

Acquired: Via trade with Capital City on Jan. 1, 2026

The six-year NBA veteran returned to the NBA G League for the first time since his rookie campaign in the 2019-20 season, when he appeared in just five games for the Greensboro Swarm. Martin, the former 36th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, made his season debut with the Boom on Jan. 2, 2026 - one day after being acquired in a trade with Capital City.

In his Boom debut, Martin immediately showcased his NBA experience, pouring in 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting while adding eight rebounds, three assists and two steals against Maine. He opened the season with four consecutive double‑digit scoring performances, providing the Boom with an offensive spark while also cleaning the glass and consistently finding open teammates.

Martin continued to demonstrate his versatility and veteran leadership throughout January as he worked his way back into game shape after nearly two months away from basketball. During a three‑game winning streak, Martin helped lift the Boom to its fourth consecutive victory by erupting for a season‑high 28 points, along with five rebounds, five assists and three steals against Maine on Jan. 24 - his most complete performance of the season.

Shortly thereafter, Martin’s season took an unfortunate turn when he suffered an Achilles injury that sidelined him for nearly a month. Upon his return to the court on March 5, he quickly picked up where he left off, filling up the stat sheet over his next five appearances. However, his season came to an early end after he sustained a shoulder injury that would shut him down for the remainder of the year.

In 15 games during the 2025-26 campaign, Martin averaged 12.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field. He recorded nine double‑digit scoring performances, eight games with at least five rebounds, six games with five or more assists, three games with at least three steals, and two games with three blocks.
