Hailing from the United Kingdom, Cameron Hildreth made his G League debut after earning a roster spot following preseason training camp. He got off to a slow start to his rookie campaign but eventually solidified himself in the rotation after taking a tremendous leap from the Tip-Off Tournament slate to the regular season.
Hildreth appeared in just eight of 14 games during the tip-off schedule, where he averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 18.0 minutes per game while shooting 37.8 percent from the field. In his Boom debut, he showed flashes of his potential after finishing with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 26 minutes of action against Motor City on Nov. 22, 2025. Over his next seven appearances, he was held to no more than eight points, including two scoreless outings.
Adversity reshaped the team once the regular season began. In the wake of the departures of Kyle Guy and Steven Ashworth, Hildreth seized his opportunity, earning a spot in the rotation and becoming a consistent contributor. He appeared in 30 contests with 23 starts, averaging 14.5 points, 3.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 28.4 minutes per game. His breakout moment arrived on Feb. 12, 2026, against College Park, when he exploded for a career-high 34 points - his first 30-point performance - on 10-of-17 shooting, while also recording four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
By season’s end, Hildreth produced 21 games scoring in double figures, including seven performances of 20 points or more and two 30-point efforts. He also recorded 10 games with at least five rebounds and 12 with five or more assists, while finishing as the team’s leader with 54 steals.
